HOW TO STAY COOL, CALM & COLLECTED
HOW TO STAY COOL, CALM & COLLECTED
Into: Fretting, or Worrying is not God’s will for His children. In fact, He commands us NOT to worry, be anxious or fret. So how do we not worry or fret? here are 4 directives:
I. Trust in the Lord v3
3 Trust in the Lord, and do good; So shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.
II. Delight in the Lord v. 4
4 Delight thyself also in the Lord; And he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
III. Commit unto the Lord vs. 5-6
5 Commit thy way unto the Lord; Trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. 6 And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, And thy judgment as the noonday.
IV. Rest in the Lord vs. 7-11
Includes waiting patiently vs. 7a
Includes refusing to fret vs. 7b
Includes ceasing from anger vs. 8
Includes seeing the big picture vs. 9-10
Includes anticipating the reward of righteousness vs. 11

We have the completed Scriptures. . .
We have the local Church. . .
